Paul Beckman

Paul Beckman is a retired air traffic controller and real estate entrepreneur.
His published books include two collections: Peek (Big Table Publishing) and Come! Meet My Family and other stories (Weighted Anchor Press); a novella, Lovers and Other Mean People (Sugar Mule Press); and a chap-book, Maybe I Ought to Sit in a Dark Room for a While (Ink, Sweat and Tears).

He has had over 750+ of his stories published in print, online, and via audio, in Literary Orphans, Connecticut Review, Playboy, Matter Press, Litro, Thrice Fiction, The Airgonaut, Jellyfish Review, and r.kv.r.y, as well as many others. He runs the monthly FBomb flash fiction reading series at KGB in New York City.

Paul’s story ‘Brother Speak’ was selected for the 2018 Norton Microfiction Anthology. Additionally, Paul was one of the winners of the Best Small Fictions 2016, and the editor’s choice for 2016 Fiction Southeast.
