JP Reese wrote poetry for years to take the edge off, then stopped for almost a decade, right after she earned an MFA. She cannot explain that odd turn of events, but was later, happy to be writing again and had published work in many genres, along with reviews and interviews, in over forty online and print journals.

It was amazing to discover that many of her poems were actually flash fiction pieces in drag.
