She worked in diverse places, doing interesting things, from mobile ski repairs to horse trekking, from bookmaker’s clerk to Trust Account bookkeeping, from cocktail bars to hotel management.

Her books included Tasseography, Looking for Kerouac, Collected poems 2008 – 2014, After the Danse, Ono, Bravo Charlie Foxtrot, Numeralla Dreaming, Food 4 Thought. All are available in print, or Kindle from Amazon.

Mercedes died in July 2023.

Truth Serum Press published her poetry collection Track Tales in October 2017.
