Townsend Walker lives in San Francisco. His short fiction has been published in over sixty literary journals and included in seven anthologies. Story ideas come from cemeteries, foreign places, paintings, violence and strong women.
He has been awarded first place in the SLO NightWriters contest, second place in Our Stories contest, and been nominated twice for the PEN / O. Henry Award. Four stories were performed at the New Short Fiction Series, Hollywood.
During a career in finance he published A Guide for Using the Foreign Exchange Market (Wiley), Managing Risk with Derivatives (ABA), and Managing Lease Portfolios (Wiley).
